You are a Belgian who recently moved to Romania and want to register at the Embassy in Bucharest? Go to e-Consul (in French and Dutch). You now have the opportunity to register online in the consular population registers, if you meet the following conditions:

  1. You are Belgian.
  2. You are not registered in the population registers of a Belgian municipality (deregistered abroad).
  3. You have habitual residence in the consular district of the professional consulate.  
  4. You have a valid and activated Belgian eID, you know its pin code and you are in possession of a card reader.
  5. Minors must meet a fifth condition. They must be registered in the same registers as where one of the parents or guardian is registered.

The post will check the file and inform you of the status of your registration.
